MUM

Mum, it's hard to find the words to say,

How much you mean to me,
But if it wasn't for your love and care,
I don't know where I'd be.

How did you do it all, mum,
Be a chauffeur,cook and friend,
Yet take time to be a playmate,
I just can't comprehend.

"Mother" is such a simple word,
But to me there's meaning seldom heard,
For everything I am today ,
My mother's love has shown the way.

Nobody's equal to you, mum,
With you in my life i'm blessed,

Words cannot say how I love you,mum,
And just how much I owe,
